Makeover Monday – Toronto Master Bedroom
Living in an urban sized condo is no excuse to compromise on quality or comfort. It becomes even more essential that each individual piece serves a purpose or multiple and is an integral part of the overall aesthetic. This held true when working on our client’s 980sq.ft urban condo in the city. This petite Master Bedroom was bland and basic on our first trip to the site. Keeping in mind the bedroom was in direct site from the main living space we used the clients existing artwork to create a striking focal point featuring oversized landscapes. Grounding these with a dark wall colour and an upholstered headboard spanning the width of the space this room began to take on the look and feel of a trendy boutique hotel. With a stunning burled antique armoire opposite the bed, layered with accessories, this stark condo began reflecting a space of a world traveler and collector of all things new and old.
